Forgetting Lost

Lost in a sea of well known faces.
Lost in an ocean of smiles and laughter.
Lost in a world of familiar places.

Alone in a crowd.
Alone at a party.
Alone when everyone you know is around.

Forgotten when you are standing on stage.
Forgotten in the middle of a sentence.
Forgotten when all you need is a friend.

Name Game

I am orange and red, and sometimes even blue.
I can have almost any hue.
I eat anything that I touch,
And I can never eat too much.

I am brightest at night,
I never lose in a fight.
Except against one foe,
Who you all know.

I can be your best friend,
Or I can fight you to the end.
I can be as wild as a boar,
Or your friend forever more.

Without me your day would be spiteful,
And you nights frightful.
I am hotter than heat,
The hottest guy you will ever meet.

Who am I?

Road Block

Man it has been quite a while since I have posted something new on this thing! And this time there IS a legitimate reason for it! And that reason is......... I have run out of ideas. I don't know what to talk about at the moment. I could always just start to talk about my life, but where is the fun of that?! I would rather conjure some sort of crazy story..... wait a tick...... I GOT IT! Ladies and Gentlemen I give you another story of an old friend of mine. Well here goes!

He was racing through the desert; he seemed to be covering miles in seconds. However, time was on his side. But then again he really couldn't be on his own side now could he? Well ignoring the laws of physics, Time continued his flight through the desert escaping from the crimes he had committed. He would lay low in Mexico for a few months before returning to the States; he would let the whole thing blow over and return incognito. He was almost there; all that was left was the final fence. He could see it on the horizon, and it was only a normal chain link fence. He knew he could scale it in a matter of milliseconds maybe even faster if he wanted. As he was busy making calculations he tripped a few feet from the fence. Thinking to himself I never trip while running he suddenly heard why he had tripped. A quiet electrical hum pierced the still night air, and at that moment Time knew that fate was watching over him (even though Fate was really somewhere in Las Vegas). Time knew that it would be difficult to get over it the normal way, so he decided to speed himself (and the fence) up. He sped up so fast that the fence had long rusted away and turned to dust. And with the rising sun Time took a step forward and a step towards freedom.
