But for ME I have this little life consuming thing called FOOTBALL. Yes, I do love the sport but it's gonna take a HUGE chunk out of my summer. At least I get at least one inside joke a day and I will get a MAJOR tan.
So anyway I wish you all a happy relaxing summer.
thank god u get a tan. i was tired at looking at ur blinding whiteness. and my softball takes up more time then ur football so stop crying XD
ReplyDeleteW/e we work harder in football. And i LOVE my blinding whiteness. Just wait for my blinding TAN LINES!
ReplyDeleteU WORK HARDER IN FOOTBALL?!?!?! PLEASE TELL ME UR JOKING CUZ THATS FLIPPIN HILARIOUS
ReplyDeleteNo Joke. Seriously what do you guys do that makes softball harder than Football?
ReplyDeletewhat do u guys do thats harder then softball??
ReplyDeleteAnswer my question first and I will gladly answer yours.
ReplyDeleteno. im not proving jack shiz until u state ur reasoning of ur absurd statement.
ReplyDeleteWell lets see
ReplyDelete1. We run around i giant pads and really tight pants.
2. We HIT each other
3. we run more.
And that is just three reasons. Your turn.
LOL those we stupid reasons. BUT
ReplyDelete1. We run around with really tight pants and one person with immense amount of gear.
2. We are constantly on our toes
3. ALL OF US have to throw with our greatest strength, not just one person
4. We have to slide and get raspberry burns
5. We are under constant pressure when we have to bat.
6. With one error, a person can score
7. Speed is everything
8. You have to be able to think in quick situations because the longer you take to think the farther the runner progresses.
9. If you make one mistake, it can cost the game or you will be taken out of the game.
Theres nine fantastic reasons. Anything else??
Lets see all of those except the throwing one can apply to football players and we have constant pressure the entire game, additionally:
ReplyDelete1. one mistake and the play can be ruined
2. we have to think even faster in quick situations
3. we are all constantly hitting each other using all our strength in not JUST our arms but our ENTIRE body.
1. No your not always hitting, thats only on defense and the blockers do that on offense
ReplyDelete2. You dont have to think at all, you just follow the plays and do what your coach says
3. One mistake ruins a PLAY, not the game. See, in softball, if the ball goes under the outfielders legs, the runner may score which would cost the game.
4. We dont have "plays" in softball. We just have to know what to do if the ball comes to us or what to do if the ball doesnt come to us and what to do if a certain situation happens.
1. actually the only person who probably gets hit the least in football is the QB and linemen and defense make up MOST of a football team.
ReplyDelete2. yes we do have to think, split second thinking. If your blocker blocks one way you have to pick up on that and bounce out or inside of him to keep going, football isn't as straight forward as you think.
3. One bad play can ruin a game, trust me it has happened before.
4. actually the correct term for every time the ball is hit is indeed a "play" that is why in softball and baseball we have the term "make the play"
in softball, we have set things to do called plays, but if things go wrong the play is off. in football, all u do is follow the play, thats it. If the play doesnt work, the world isnt over, but in softball, it can roller ball into bigger faults. In softball, u are ALWAYS moving, there are different directions to each situation. if one thing happens u need to know what to do with or without the ball.
ReplyDeleteok. ive come to a conclusion. softball and football are too different to compare. if we were comparing softball to baseball, thats debatable. so. this discussion can no longer continue the way it is.
ReplyDeleteIgnoring your last comment I have one final thing to say.
ReplyDeleteIn almost EVERY sport (including softball and football) what happens when the players are in motion like when the ball is hit or hiked that is a play, there are also strategies that can be used that are also called plays. In Football yes you do follow a certain play but plays can change in split seconds, like if one guy goes one way and you have to improvise. Also in football one play CAN screw up a game, whether it causes moral to get too low and allows the other team to run up the score or it allows the other team to get that last game winning touch down. And in EVERY sport there are always times where you do not move INCLUDING softball. There are different directions to different situations in every sport.
NOW I will stop and agree with you in saying that Softball and Football are difficult to compare (but not impossible). Now I am done.
no, danny, they cannot be compared. they are two very different sports. ones contact and ones...not. they cannot be compared. even though we both have very viable explanations for why our sport is better or more difficult, the arguments are ridiculous.
